Job Description

Class 4 Civil Driver


We're looking for an experienced Class 4 Civil Driver to join a busy civil construction team working across a range of projects throughout Wellington Region.


This is a hands-on role for someone confident operating in off-road environments, transporting materials between sites, and working closely with civil crews to keep projects moving.


Location: Wellington Region (various sites)

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $32–$34 per hour + weekly pay


What you'll be doing


  • Operating Class 4 vehicles across active civil construction sites
  • Driving in off-road and challenging terrain environments
  • Carting aggregates and civil construction materials
  • Transporting materials between project locations as required
  • Supporting site crews and working as part of a team
  • Maintaining safe operating practices on-site and on the road


What we're looking for


  • Full Class 4 licence (essential)
  • Proven civil construction experience (essential)
  • Experience operating in off-road terrain
  • WTR endorsements are desirable
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
  • Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
