About the role


We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse join our fabulous team at Highlands in Highland Park, Auckland. This role is a permanent, part-time AM position, working 16 hours per week as follows:


Sunday and Monday – 0645 – 1515 = 16hrs

There may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired.

Some of the great things you will be doing:


  • Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
  • Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Work collaboratively with other team members
  • Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
  • Provide compassionate and high-level care.


About you


You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person. You also have:


  • Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
  • Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
  • InterRai qualified is desirable.
  • Up to date knowledge of wound care management
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
