Job Description

Trade Assist is seeking a Class 2 Driver to assist with cover for a company based out in Waimauku! This is a flexible, on-call role where you’ll provide cover as required and help keep deliveries and day-to-day operations running smoothly. We’re looking for a reliable driver with a strong work ethic and a professional attitude.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate Class 2 vehicles for deliveries and collections
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Complete deliveries to customers and other locations as required
  • Carry out vehicle pre-start checks and report any issues
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and road regulations
  • Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle and work area
  • Provide reliable cover when required


About You:


  • Current Class 2 Licence required
  • Previous driving or delivery experience preferred
  • Safe and responsible driving record
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with your availability
  • Physically fit and comfortable with loading/unloading
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • NZ resident or valid work visa


Please note – It is a requirement that applicants are able to provide a clean drug and alcohol test result before commencing work with us.
