Traffic Controllers

Our clients are going to be busy in the new year and they require Traffic Controllers to assist them with the management of traffic and pedestrian movement across various locations in and around Dunedin and Otago. We are looking for people to join our Experienced


Traffic Control roster.

These roles are varied, and an ideal opportunity to kick off a civil career


Job Description

You will be working in a team environment under the guidance and instruction of experienced staff, ensuring that fellow employees and the public are kept safe as they move through the work-site. A current traffic control qualification is preferred, however not necessary.


Tasks include:

  • Assisting the Site Supervisor by placing signage and cones at the location of work
  • Communicating with fellow Traffic Controllers, using a hand-held radio to ensure the smooth flow of traffic through the work-site
  • Clearly communicating with the public in a friendly manner


Job Requirements:

  • Current Traffic control qualifications preferred, but not essential
  • Current NZ Drivers license
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Team Player
  • Physically able to stand for long periods of time in varying weather conditions
  • High Health and safety awareness
