Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, Central Otago, $130,000 - $150,000

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Licensed Surveyor to take ownership of projects, provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and work closely with clients, councils, and contractors across a diverse range of cadastral, topographical, engineering, and land development projects.

The Role


  • Lead cadastral surveying projects from inception through to completion
  • Prepare and certify cadastral survey datasets and plans
  • Manage subdivision and land development projects
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior surveyors
  • Liaise with clients, councils, contractors, and consultants
  • Ensure compliance with Landonline requirements and NZ surveying regulations
  • Manage project delivery, reporting, and client relationships


About You


  • Licensed Cadastral Surveyor (New Zealand)
  • 5+ years' experience in cadastral surveying and land development projects
  • Strong knowledge of Landonline, 12d, AutoCAD, and survey technology
  • Experience managing projects and mentoring team members
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand surveying regulations and subdivision processes
  • Full NZ driver's licence and legal right to work in New Zealand
