Ready to step into a role where you can support delivery of the Transnational, Serious and Organised Crime (TSOC) Strategy? This is your chance to work at the centre of New Zealand’s system-level response to TSOC.


The TSOC Secretariat brings agencies together to turn the Strategy and Action Plan into coordinated action, supporting senior leaders to strengthen national delivery.


We’re seeking a proactive, solutions-focused person who is ready to make a practical contribution from the outset. You’ll bring strong relationship management, communication and coordination skills, with strong experience project and programme coordination and governance processes, including agendas, papers, actions and decisions, to support our multi-agency work programme.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate cross-agency projects and initiatives, sharing information and insights to reduce duplication and strengthen collective delivery.
  • Support across work programme streams to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
  • Provide high-quality governance secretariat support, including preparing agendas, meeting packs, minutes, registers and concise briefings for governance chairs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally, tailoring information to the needs of stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification, or substantial relevant work experience is required. Formal project management training is desirable.
  • Agree to enrol in a leadership programme at the advertised level, at a future date or
  • Have qualified under CEP or a previous Career Progression Framework at the level you are applying for.

This role is based in the Fusion Hub (Lambton Quay) in Wellington District area. Some travel may be required.

Utu ā-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $103,836 and $109,983 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
