Job Description

Are you a Class 2 Driver with civil construction experience who is happy to get out of the truck and get stuck into labouring?


We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Class 2 Drivers / Civil Labourers for ongoing opportunities across Auckland and Whangārei .


About the Role


This is a hands-on civil construction role where you’ll spend part of your day driving and also support the site crew with general civil labouring duties.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Driving Class 2 trucks on active civil construction sites
  • Transporting materials, equipment and spoil
  • Carrying out general civil labouring and site support
  • Assisting with drainage, earthworks and site preparation
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Supporting machine operators and site crews
  • Site clean-up and general duties as required
  • Following site health and safety procedures
  • Getting stuck in and helping the team wherever needed


What We’re Looking For


  • Current Class 2 driver licence
  • WTR endorsements preferred
  • Previous civil construction experience
  • Comfortable doing both driving and physical labouring
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
