Class 4 Driver


We’re looking for an experienced Class 4 Driver to join a civil project in Tauranga.

You’ll be operating 6-wheeler and 8-wheeler trucks as part of a supportive crew, with ongoing project-based work available for the right person.


Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty

Start date: Mid-October

Pay rate: $32–$36 per hour, depending on experience


About the Role:

This is a hands-on driving role supporting civil operations across the Tauranga area.


Your duties will include:

  • Operating 6-wheeler and 8-wheeler trucks
  • Supporting day-to-day civil project operations
  • Working safely and efficiently alongside the wider crew
  • Following site and project requirements
  • Taking care of the vehicle and equipment you operate

What We’re Looking For


To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • A current NZ Class 4 driver licence
  • Previous experience operating trucks in civil environments
  • Confidence operating 6-wheeler and 8-wheeler trucks
  • Two recent work references
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • A clean Ministry of Justice (MOJ) record
  • A reliable and safety-focused approach to work
