Are you a Hammerhand looking for your next role?


The team at Trade Assist are on the lookout for Hammerhands to join our Christchurch team on various projects. If you're motivated, and looking for your next challenge, we’d love to have you on board.



What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting qualified carpenters on site
  • Framing, cladding, formwork, and fit-out work
  • Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials
  • Operating hand and power tools safely

To Be Successful:

  • Previous Hammerhand, apprentice, or construction experience
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and independently
  • Problem solving skills and attention for detail
  • Your own reliable transport
  • Your own basic toolbelt
  • Site Safe is advantageous



Please note - It is a requirement that applicants are able to provide a clean drug and alcohol test result before commencing work with us.
