ABOUT THE COMPANY


Our client is a well-established international freight forwarding company with a strong presence across New Zealand. They have an excellent reputation in the industry and a solid portfolio of long-standing clients.


ABOUT THE ROLE


This is a key role within the Import team, where you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day import process across either sea or airfreight. You’ll be dealing with customers, overseas agents and internal teams, so strong communication and attention to detail are important.


ABOUT YOU


  • We’re looking for someone with previous import operations experience, although we’d also consider an experienced Export Operator looking to make the move into Imports. EDI Cargowise experience preferred but not essential
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Thinks outside the box and will use your initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • A team player with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication; verbal & written
