Our client is a leading Kiwi organisation within the food & manufacturing sector, with a large-scale operational environment supported by a diverse technology & applications landscape.


The organisation is continuing to invest in its systems & processes, creating an opportunity for an Applications & Business Process Analyst to work closely with operational & technology stakeholders to deliver practical improvements whilst growing their career of choice.

The Role

This role sits at the intersection of business operations & technology, with a particular focus on ERP & occasional application support.


You'll be particularly well suited if your career has included hands-on exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, food or FMCG environments, followed by a move into business analysis, applications or systems.


Key responsibilities:

  • Gather and translate business requirements into practical system enhancements, process changes and new functionality.
  • Analyse and document current and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead or contribute to system and process improvements from concept through to implementation.
  • Maintain master data standards and governance, including product information, BOMs and production routes.
  • Support application issues, system changes, upgrades and deployments, including testing, UAT and Azure DevOps task management.

Your Profile

We're looking for someone who understands how operational businesses actually work and can bridge the gap between those operations and technology.


Your background has started in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, food or FMCG, where you developed a strong understanding of operational processes, systems and the challenges faced by business users. More recently, you'll have moved into business analysis, applications, systems administration or a similar technology-focused role.


You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience working with ERP systems (D365F&O), with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) exposure advantageous; Flexibility in ERP system usage is key.
  • Strong business analysis capability, including requirements gathering and process analysis.
  • Experience translating operational challenges into practical system and process improvements.
  • Exposure to application support, system changes, testing, UAT and/or system implementations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across operational, technical and non-technical teams. If you've worked in or around warehousing operations, you'd be a great match!
