Job Description

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced painter for work in Taupō. If you take pride in your preparation, have an eye for detail and can deliver a quality finish, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll work across residential and commercial painting projects, from preparing surfaces through to applying the final coat.

Location: Taupō

Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience

  • What you’ll be doingPreparing surfaces by sanding, filling, masking and priming
  • Completing interior and exterior painting across a range of surfaces
  • Applying paints and coatings to a high standard
  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
  • Working with the team to meet project deadlines
  • What we’re looking forProven experience in residential and/or commercial painting
  • Strong surface preparation skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence using painting tools and equipment
  • Reliability and the ability to work well with others
  • Airless spraying experience would be an advantage
