Job Description

Our Client, established in 1955 is a leading manufacturer of fasteners and joinery for the residential construction industry. Due to the current workload, there are opportunities for technically minded people or suitably qualified and experienced die-setters to join this ever-expanding team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Able to set tools in accordance with production plans utilizing SMED framework
  • Ensure products comply with Quality Control standards
  • Set metal stamping dies and assists with setting up of production area as required
  • Ensure dies are maintained and cleaned as required to ensure readiness for production
  • Assist with meeting production requirements as a machine operator and packer if required


Qualifications and Competencies

  • Metal Stamping and Die Setting
  • Press Operation
  • Forklift License a bonus
  • Experience in a factory environment
  • Able to perform tasks as directed
  • A self-motivated team player
