JOINER


On Offer:


  • Days/Time of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00 pm - Start and finish time may vary
  • Pay: $28 - $40 per hour, depending on your skill set and assignment
  • Permanent or temp to perm opportunity depending on candidate
  • Up to $1,200 sign-up bonuses for NZ-based applicants


Skills Required:


  • At least two years of relevant Joinery experience or NZQF Level 4 qualification in Joinery or equivalent overseas qualification
  • Proficiency in using Joinery hand tools and power tools (Preferably own basic tools)
  • Ability to pass a drug test and criminal record check
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be physically fit and own transportation
  • Right to work in New Zealand (Work visa holders considered)


Tasks Include:


  • Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders
  • Measure, mark, cut, shape, and machine timber and timber-based materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
  • Manufacture, assemble, and repair timber joinery products
  • Fit and install hardware such as hinges, locks, handles, drawer runners, glazing components, and other fittings
  • Sand, finish, and prepare joinery products for painting, staining, polishing, or final installation
  • Install manufactured joinery products on-site where required, ensuring accurate fit and finish
