Full-time | Ongoing Work | Immediate Start


We are looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter to join the team on a high-profile project in Hastings. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with experience working with copper pipework who is looking for ongoing work and a competitive hourly rate.


About the Role


You’ll be responsible for the installation, fitting and assembly of pipework as part of a busy project team.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Installing and fitting copper pipework
  • Measuring, cutting and assembling pipes
  • Reading and working from plans and drawings
  • Pipe alignment and fitting
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Working alongside other trades to meet project deadlines
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety


About You


We’re looking for someone who:


  • Has previous Pipe Fitting experience
  • Has solid experience working with copper pipes
  • Can read and interpret plans and drawings
  • Is reliable, hardworking and safety-focused
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Has a strong eye for detail and quality workmanship


Requirements


Due to the nature of the project, applicants must be able to:


  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Complete and pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) background check
  • Have the right to work in New Zealand
