This is a permanent part-time opportunity working:


Monday and Saturday shifts (16 hours per week)

As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the face of ASB, helping customers with a wide range of everyday banking needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll build meaningful relationships, identify opportunities to support customers, and help them feel confident using our digital banking solutions.


No two days are the same. From helping customers open accounts and manage their finances through to supporting them with important life moments, you'll play a key role in making banking simple, convenient and personal.


Based in our Riccarton branch, you'll be part of a high-performing team in one of Christchurch's busiest and most diverse communities. This role offers the chance to build meaningful relationships with customers, develop valuable banking and customer service skills, and grow your career with one of New Zealand's most trusted organisations.

You don't need previous banking experience to succeed in this role.

We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are confident building relationships with a wide range of customers. If you've worked in retail, hospitality, travel, tourism, customer service, telecommunications, contact centres or another customer-focused environment, many of your skills will transfer well to banking.
