Senior Surveyor – Gold Coast, $120,000 - $160,000 + Vehicle + Super


The Company


A well‑established surveying consultancy on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Senior Cadastral or Engineering Surveyor to join their growing team. This role offers genuine variety, flexibility, and long‑term career satisfaction, with projects spanning Northern NSW to the Sunshine Coast and beyond.

Projects


  • Urban, rural, and industrial subdivisions (2–500 lots)
  • Residential, commercial, and industrial BFPs, including multi‑storey developments
  • Volumetric and ambulatory boundary surveys
  • Commercial and industrial lease surveys
  • Indigenous land and identification surveys
  • Titling advice and historical survey reporting
  • Hydrographic surveys and construction‑related survey tasks

The Role


  • Rural and urban subdivisions
  • Cadastral, building set outs, including high-rise and multi-unit BFPs.
  • GPS surveys.
  • Drone surveys
  • DTM and boundary reinstatement.
  • Engineering surveys
  • Reductions using 12D and Trimble software.
  • Plan and conduct cadastral surveys to establish and verify boundaries
  • Develop survey methodologies, plans, and procedures
  • Analyse and manage data using GIS and CAD systems
  • Certify and take responsibility for boundary surveys
  • Prepare legal survey documentation, including deeds and lease descriptions
  • Collaborate with engineering, architectural, and client teams
  • Mentor junior staff working toward cadastral endorsement
  • Maintain high levels of safety, quality, and technical accuracy
  • Research legal records and land titles
  • Carry out geodetic measurements and interpret topographic data
  • Maintain clear communication and strong client relationships


About You


  • University qualified Surveyor
  • 5 years + experience
  • Registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland preferred but not essential
  • Experience across a variety of survey projects
  • Experience with 12d and Trimble
  • S6 drone and GPS experience preferred but not essential
