Are you a NZ Qualified Electrician looking for a role with variety, a great team and a well-established local business?


Refrigeration Supplies Ltd is a locally owned and operated refrigeration and air conditioning company that has been serving Southland for more than 59 years. With a team of around 20 people and a purpose-built workshop and showroom in Invercargill, we're proud of the reputation we've built and the team behind it.


We're now looking for a reliable, motivated Qualified Electrician to join us in a full-time role, carrying out electrical work across our refrigeration and air conditioning projects.


The Role


Working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, you'll be responsible for electrical wiring and associated electrical work across a range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.


You'll work alongside an experienced team while also having the autonomy to get on with the job independently. The position also forms part of an on-call roster, so we're looking for someone dependable who takes pride in providing a high standard of service.


About You


To be successful in this role, you'll need to:


  • Be a New Zealand qualified Electrician
  • Have strong electrical knowledge and practical skills
  • Hold a full New Zealand driver's licence
  • Be physically fit and comfortable with the practical requirements of the role
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be reliable, organised and have excellent time management
  • Take pride in your workmanship and professional presentation
  • Be self-motivated, positive and driven to succeed
