Decontamination Labourer | Full-time | South Island

Our client is a leading decontamination company providing specialised cleaning and restoration services across New Zealand.


They are looking for a Decontamination Labourer to join their team, working across the South Island on a range of residential cleaning and decontamination projects.


This is a hands-on role involving physical labour, cleaning and demolition work.


About the role:

  • Decontamination and deep cleaning of residential properties
  • Demolition and removal of contaminated materials and household items
  • Heavy lifting and general labouring duties
  • Travelling to job sites across the South Island
  • Overnight stays away from home when required
  • Working Monday–Friday, generally between 8am–5pm
  • Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends when required


We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous construction or labouring experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Is physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and hands-on work
  • Is reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
  • Is comfortable travelling regularly for work
  • Holds a full NZ driver's licence
  • Can confidently drive a manual vehicle
  • Is comfortable towing and reversing a trailer
  • Has a good attitude and is keen to learn
