Job Description

Onestaff Invercargill are the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial based clients in Southland.

We are  seeking a range of suitably experienced Trade Assistants with good welding experience or Trade Qualified Fitter Welders/


Fitter Turners to work in general engineering businesses around the local Invercargill area. These roles will be a combination of workshop and site based and are predominantly in the medium to heavy fabrication sectors.


The successful candidates will ideally have the following:

  • Trade Certificates
  • Recent work experience in these environments
  • Proven welding skills Mig, Stick, Tig,
  • Good Communication skills
  • Ability to work Unsupervised
  • Are Adaptable and can work a 40+ hour week
  • Team player with a good attitude
  • Have own reliable transport with a full drivers licence
  • 2 recent work references
  • Must be physically fit and able
