About the role


We are excited to offer a Manager in Training opportunity at our Milford store. This is a 30 hour/week position designed for ambitious individuals who are ready to develop their management skills and take on increased responsibility within our retail operations. As a Manager in Training, you will work alongside our experienced Store Manager to gain practical experience across all aspects of store management, positioning you for a management role in the future.


Key responsibilities


  • Support the Store Manager in the day to day operations of the store
  • Assist with stock management, including receiving, processing, and merchandising of products
  • Train and mentor team members on customer service standards, product knowledge, and store procedures
  • Contribute to achieving store targets and performance goals
  • Undertake management training and development programmes as required


What we're looking for


  • Proven experience in retail, ideally within a fashion or consumer products environment
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to lead and motivate a team
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Sound numeracy skills and experience with point of sale systems and basic stock management
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional development
  • Reliability, integrity and a positive attitude towards work
