Stringfellow Contracts Ltd is a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor located in Palmerston North.


Stringfellows is well known for high quality infrastructure work involving earthmoving, roading, drainage and retaining structures.


We currently have a full-time position available for an experienced Class 5 truck driver.


This position is open to applicants with a class 5 licence with truck and trailer experience. The minimum requirement for applicants is a class 5 licence, experience with tipping and spreading would be beneficial.


In particular, we are looking for someone who has:


  • The ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Prior experience in civil construction would be beneficial but not essential
  • Prior experience in tipping and spreading would be beneficial
  • High maintenance standards for their equipment
  • Pride in their work
