Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Tool Maker with relevant certifications to join a busy manufacturing team in East Tamaki

  • Rate approx $40-50ph but negotiable on experience
  • Monday - Friday
  • Dayshift hours - flexible


Duties

  • Maintenance & repairs of all tooling to ensure production requirements are met
  • Manage tools and inventory
  • Liaise with contractors / designers / suppliers for new tools, spare parts etc
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Die Setters on issues arising with tools
  • Development of SMED for all tooling


Successful Applicant requires

  • Trade Certification (Level 3 Engineering Cert)
  • 10 years experience
  • Experience using a variety of machinery (lathes, drills, grinders etc)
  • Familiar with SMED & Continuous Improvement methodologies
