THE GIG:


RB Recruitment is looking for a Rubber Manufacturing Operator to join their team in the development of rubber products. You will be paid for your training and your development! You will get trained how to operate the Moulding Machine and working in a rubber manufacturing environment. No previous experience needed, just a willingness to show up day in and day out for your team.


In this role, you'll work alongside the Factory Manager in a small knit team to meet production targets, receive and process raw materials, operating a rubber moulding press and carry out quality control testing while recording production data.


This role is relatively physical and requires forms of manual labour when operating the moulder, and handling rubber materials to feed into the machine. You must be fit and healthy to succeed in the role with the ability to lift 5-15kg regularly across the day.

Hours will be consistent with 5 days of work guaranteed.7:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday with a starting rate of $27 per hour. depending on previous experience and technical knowledge.

YOU WLL BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:


  • Restricted of Full Driver's License with access to your own vehicle
  • Physically fit and a willingness to labour, comfortable lifting 5-15kg loads regularly
  • Willingness to learn
  • Have a current and valid NZ work visa or NZ residency. We are not taking international applications or Visa Sponsorships for this role.
  • Be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test
  • Consent to a third-party criminal conviction check
