He angitūtanga / The opportunity:


We are looking for an experienced and energetic Bar Supervisor to join our team at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin .


This is a casual position , with shifts offered as and when required based on business needs. Weekly hours are not guaranteed.


You will supervise food and beverage team members, allocate tasks and support the smooth operation of the bar during busy events. You will lead by example, deliver excellent customer service and ensure responsible alcohol service, food safety and health and safety requirements are followed.


Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:


  • Supervise team members, allocate tasks and provide hands-on support during service.
  • Prepare the bar, serve beverages and oversee closing and stocktaking procedures.
  • Ensure the responsible service of alcohol and support team compliance.
  • Deliver professional customer service and manage customer concerns appropriately.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure bar, equipment and service areas are clean and safe.


He kōrero mōu / About you:


  • Previous experience in a similar bar, hospitality or supervisory role.
  • A current General Manager’s Certificate for liquor service.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • A flexible, hardworking and reliable approach, with good physical fitness.
  • An NZQA Food Handling Certificate would be advantageous.
