Senior Civil Engineer

Napier, Hawkes Bay, $100,000 - $145,000


The Company


Is a national multidisciplinary consultancy that provides engineering services for to land development, building, health, institutional, energy, government and transport sectors.


Known for their high technical level their project teams consist of talented professionals at all career stages providing meaningful consulting experiences on some of New Zealand's most transformational projects.


Due to growth they are looking for an experienced, ambitious, and driven Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in design, construction observation, and professional consulting with land development and infrastructure project experience to join their team.

The Role

  • Work independently but in close co-operation with the nationwide team of engineers and surveyors
  • Design and management of a range of public and private sector projects
  • Liaison and relationship management with a diverse range of stakeholders including staff, clients, contractors, specialists and council staff
  • Work on new and established projects in Hawkes Bay

About You

  • A BE Civil, BEngTech or equivalent qualification
  • 5 years'+ relevant experience
  • Proven land development experience (e.g. landform, services, roading)
  • Strong design skills with proficiency in 12D
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects and meet client requirements, with minimal supervision
  • Ideally, experience in construction observation and contract administration, with a sound knowledge of NZS3910
  • Practical on-site experience
  • Familiarity with local Council standards and codes of practice
  • Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing
