This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing commercial finance team, reporting directly to an experienced and highly regarded Head of Finance. This role also offers flexible start and finish times alongside genuine long-term career development opportunities.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll play a key role in supporting senior operational and commercial leaders across a broad product portfolio. This is a highly visible role combining commercial analysis, forecasting, financial modelling and business partnering, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with the business and turning financial data into meaningful insight.

You'll work alongside stakeholders across sales, marketing, operations and leadership, providing analysis and recommendations that support business performance and commercial decision-making. The role offers plenty of variety, with the opportunity to take ownership of key commercial initiatives while contributing to a range of strategic projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing product and channel profitability against forecast and budget expectations
  • Providing commercial insights and recommendations to support business performance and decision-making
  • Supporting forecasting across revenue, trade spend, gross margin and operational performance
  • Delivering monthly reporting, dashboards and meaningful performance analysis for senior leaders
  • Building and enhancing financial models to support pricing, business cases and strategic initiatives
  • Supporting new product development and portfolio optimisation through robust financial analysis
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to improve financial understanding and commercial awareness
  • Contributing to budgeting and long-range planning activities
  • Supporting capital investment analysis, ROI assessments and wider strategic projects
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and ways of working while proactively driving positive change
  • This role will suit someone who enjoys getting close to the business, challenging assumptions and using financial insight to help drive better commercial outcomes.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you'll be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with the wider business and turning financial data into meaningful insight.

You'll bring experience from a commercial finance, management accounting or finance business partnering environment and be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. A CA, CPA or CIMA qualification would be advantageous, although it is not essential for the right person.

You will ideally possess:

  • Experience within commercial finance, management accounting or a finance business partnering environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Experience with forecasting, reporting and financial modelling
  • The ability to translate complex financial information into clear and meaningful commercial insight
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across all levels of the business
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
  • A proactive and naturally curious mindset, with the confidence to ask questions and challenge assumptions
  • Strong systems skills and a continuous improvement mindset
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt within a fast-paced commercial environment
  • A desire to learn, grow and take ownership within a large and evolving organisation
