Join an established team at Absolute IT as a Recruitment Consultant, where you’ll build lasting client relationships, deliver exceptional candidate experiences, and make a real commercial impact.


As a Consultant, you’ll play a key role in growing our business, supporting team success, and strengthening our position within the New Zealand IT market.

What You’ll Be Doing


  • Growing and developing a portfolio of clients and candidates
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders across the IT sector
  • Recruiting a broad range of IT roles, consisting of permanent, contract and fixed-term positions
  • Cold and warm calling new and existing businesses to promote your recruitment services and market knowledge
  • Deliver exceptional service in line with agreed terms of business and service-level commitments
  • Consult on all facets of the IT employment industry, acting as a source of information for clients and candidates


About You


  • Proven recruitment experience, preferably within the IT or technology sector. Industry experience is not essential, as we’ll provide the specialist training. You bring the recruitment expertise; we’ll teach you the market.
  • A strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Demonstrated business development and client relationship management experience
  • The ability to influence and build credibility with senior decision-makers
