With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and customer service, they are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join their team.


The role

You will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs on passenger vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Performing inspections and minor repairs to a high standard
  • Completing WOF inspections if you hold a current WOF licence
  • Advising customers on servicing requirements and recommended repairs when required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
  • Working as part of a professional and supportive team


What you will need

  • Relevant automotive trade qualification
  • Strong all-round mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working across a variety of vehicle brands
  • Current WOF inspector licence, or a willingness to obtain one
  • High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A clean and valid NZ driver's licence
