Job Description

At Trade Assist, we're looking for reliable and hardworking Production Workers to join our client's team in Christchurch Central.


This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work on a day shift, with competitive pay and the potential for ongoing employment.


The role is hands-on and physically demanding, so you'll need to be physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting.


What You'll Be Doing


Your day-to-day duties may include:

  • Assisting with production and manufacturing processes
  • Operating basic production machinery
  • Packing and preparing products
  • Moving materials and finished products
  • Heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Following production procedures and safety requirements
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
  • Completing general production duties as required


What We're Looking For


We're looking for someone who is:

  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working on their feet for extended periods
  • Able to work Monday–Friday
  • Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Able to follow instructions and work safely
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • A good team player
  • Previous production, manufacturing or factory experience is an advantage, but not essential
