Job Description

Trade Assist are looking for reliable skilled construction workers to join our team for a variety of projects across Christchurch. Whether you're an experienced Construction Labourer, Hammer Hand, or Carpenter, we have opportunities to match your skills and help you continue developing your career.



Depending on experience and placement, duties may include:

  • General site labouring and manual handling
  • Installation of cladding and fixtures.
  • Performing a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, foundations, and the installation of windows, doors, and other fixtures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure work is completed to specification.

To Be Successful

  • Previous experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience as a Hammer Hand or Carpenter would be extremely advantageous.
  • Your own reliable transport
  • Your own basic toolbelt
  • Site Safe is advantageous but not essential
