Senior Civil Three Waters Engineer, West Auckland, $100k-$140k

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Three Waters Engineer to join their team.

The Role


This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of Three Waters projects, including drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.


You will contribute to projects across land development, infrastructure upgrades, and advisory work, collaborating closely with planners, surveyors, engineers, councils, and developers.

  • Design and assess drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure for land development and infrastructure projects
  • Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and technical documentation to meet council and regulatory requirements
  • Undertake feasibility assessments and provide technical advice to clients
  • Support resource consent and subdivision applications with Three Waters inputs
  • Liaise with councils, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Ensure designs comply with New Zealand standards, guidelines, and best practice
  • Contribute to mentoring and supporting junior team members

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience working on Three Waters infrastructure projects in New Zealand
  • Strong understanding of NZ standards, council requirements, and planning processes
  • A BE, NZCE or BEngTech qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in engineering design and technical reporting
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative team environment
  • Experience in the private consultancy sector preferred
