While automatic transmissions are at the heart of our business, we also specialise in advanced diagnostics, drivability concerns, and general automotive repairs across a wide range of vehicles.


We are now looking for an experienced **Senior Automotive Technician** to join our team — someone who enjoys diagnostics, takes pride in their work, and wants to play a key role in a specialist workshop environment.


About the Role


This is an opportunity to stay hands-on while taking on greater responsibility within the workshop.


You will work alongside experienced transmission specialists while continuing to develop your diagnostic expertise and learn advanced automatic transmission systems.


Your responsibilities will include:


* Advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding

* General automotive servicing and repairs

* Diagnosing complex drivability issues

* Preparing repair estimates and discussing repair options

* Supporting workshop workflow and job prioritisation

* Quality control and maintaining high workmanship standards

* Supporting apprentices and fellow technicians

* Developing specialist knowledge in automatic transmission diagnostics and rebuilding

We're looking for someone who:


* Has strong experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs

* Can confidently work independently and make sound technical decisions

* Enjoys solving challenging technical problems

* Takes ownership and pride in their workmanship

* Communicates well and contributes positively to a small team

* Holds a minimum Level 4 Automotive Qualification (or equivalent experience)
