Job Description

We're looking for a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in a fixed-term parental leave position, from 17 August 2026 to 12 February 2027.

This role is 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 2:00pm.


About You


You'll be a qualified and registered teacher who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. You'll bring:


  • A Level 7 BEd/Dip Teaching qualification (ECE or Primary) and current New Zealand Teacher Registration.
  • A strong understanding of Te Whāriki , child-led learning, and assessment practices.
  • Sound knowledge of ECE regulations and a commitment to high-quality teaching and compliance.
  • A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bicultural practice.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and a focus on achieving positive outcomes for tamariki.
