Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Class 4 Driver to join their waste collection team.


This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of waste materials while operating modern vehicles and equipment. You will complete daily vehicle checks, follow health and safety procedures, maintain accurate paperwork, and work alongside a supportive team.


Key Requirements:

  • Current NZ Class 4 Driver Licence
  • Experience driving heavy vehicles (waste, transport, civil, or similar industries preferred)
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Able to pass a negative pre-employment drug test
  • Clean criminal history check


Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6:30am – 3:00pm
  • Must be flexible to work longer hours when required during busy periods
  • Approximately 40–50 hours per week
