Off Grid Electrical is a growing electrical business based in Taupō, and we're looking for a Registered or nearly Qualified Electrician to join our team.


This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a team that works hard, has a laugh, and genuinely supports each other.

You'll get plenty of variety rather than doing the same job every day, including:

Residential electrical work


  • Commercial electrical work
  • Solar installations
  • Heat pump installations
  • Fault finding, maintenance and general electrical work
  • Completing electrical compliance and digital documentation
  • Working safely and professionally across a range of customer sites
  • Using modern job management and digital systems to keep jobs running smoothly


Ideally, you'll bring experience in one or more of; Residential electrical, Commercial electrical, Solar installations, Heat pump installations, or General electrical maintenance and fault finding.


You'll also be someone who:

  • Has a good attitude and communicates well with customers and colleagues
  • Is reliable, organised and safety-conscious
  • Is flexible and willing to get stuck in
