About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Qualified Builder - Project Lead to join our dedicated team in the Northland Region. This crucial role will see you taking ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring exceptional quality, adherence to timelines, and seamless client communication. You will be the driving force behind our on-site operations, embodying our commitment to excellence and upholding our core values. 🛠️


The Role Will Involve

  • Leading and managing residential building projects from start to finish, including new builds, renovations, and additions.
  • Overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to the building team.
  • Maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to on site.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Upholding Good Built Homes & Construction's core values in all aspects of your work.
  • Conducting site inspections and quality control checks.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Qualified Builder status is essential.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading residential building projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in new builds, renovations, and additions.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage project timelines and budgets.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent client service.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A strong work ethic and a dedication to "doing things the right way" (mahi tika).
