TEMP Warehouse/Removal Assistant needed


(NO OVERSEAS BASED APPLICANTS pls)


INTRO


Our client just off Constellation Rd, Rosedale on the NORTHSHORE is looking for a second Temp to assist them all with their relocation to new premises (small office and warehouse) which is just around the corner.


An international company headquartered in the US, they are an importer and distributer of a range of products that service the needs of those using outdoor equipment


RATE


  • $27/hour (base rate $25 + 8% holiday pay), KiwiSaver on top
  • Onsite parking provided


DATES


  • Start Thursday 1st October'
  • Finish Wednesday 14th October


HOURS


  • 8.30am to 5pm
  • No weekend work, each weekday only


TASKS


  • The person will need to be physically capable as you will be moving office furniture first and then will help with the warehouse move
  • Unpacking the smaller items in the Warehouse on to the shelves, using a wave-lift (takes you up to higher ledges to remove stock items from the old premises, then to place in correct coded areas at the new premises)
  • Also some demolition of old equipment/tables to put in a Skip is possible
  • Team work, tidiness and accuracy required.


YOU


  • Warehouse experience – safety boots worn
  • Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills
  • Able to lift moderate weights eg 11-27 kgs+
  • Comfortable moving about on your feet through a shift
