We're looking for Two Team Members to join our Fishing and Hunting Departments at Franklin Hunting & Fishing.


Work Includes:


  • 5 days a week
  • One day in the weekend
  • Work on public holidays
  • Clothing & Camping areas over summer
  • Job training will be provided to use our point of sale and ordering systems


Must Haves:


  • Customer Service is key
  • Work well within a team
  • Confidence in selling
  • Computer skills
  • Able to lift 20kgs
  • Good personal presentation


Fishing:


  • Understanding of different fishing techniques freshwater, saltwater, species, seasonal patterns
  • Gear & Tackle Expertise - Familiarity with rods, reels, lures, lines and other equipment to help customers find the right setup


Hunting:


  • Assisting customers with firearms, ammunition and hunting equipment
  • Providing knowledgeable advice on hunting and outdoor products
  • Hold a current New Zealand Firearms Licence (essential)

  • Stock Replenishment
  • Merchandising and Tidying
