Mō te tūranga nei | About the Job:


We’re looking for RNs to join us on a casual employment basis, to work as needed/as available in our Endoscopy Unit at Takapuna, in both the Procedure room & in Recovery.


Although we have Endoscopy units at both Allevia Hospital in Epsom & within the Allevia GI Institute in Takapuna, this position is primarily for Takapuna, where the unit is open Monday to Friday, from 0700 to 1700, & our RNs work variable shifts of 6, 8 or 10 hours.

Allevia Endoscopy was the first private endoscopy clinic to be opened in New Zealand. Backed by world-class nurses & services, our clinics provide a full range of therapeutic, interventional & palliative treatments, & include Gastroscopies, Colonoscopies, Bronchoscopies & ERCP procedures. Our clinics are situated on the Allevia Hospital Epsom site & at the Allevia GI Institute in Taharoto Rd, Takapuna.

Ngā kōrero mōu | About you:


  • NZ RN registration with a current APC
  • At least 2 years recent experience in Endoscopy within a NZ or comparable health system (e.g. Australia, UK, Ireland)
  • You are NOT already working fulltime (if you are currently employed, it must be at 0.8 FTE or less)
  • A positive attitude with professional maturity
  • Flexibility - sometimes your finishing time will be a bit later
