Intermediate Fire Engineer, Wellington, $90,000 - $110,000 (adjusted for Graduate or Senior level, plus annual team performance bonus)

The Role

  • Lead or support on Acceptable Solution fire designs depending on experience level
  • Support or lead on Alternative Design and VM projects
  • Prepare offers of service (with training and peer review provided)
  • Conduct site visits and attend client meetings
  • Peer review colleagues' work as part of a collaborative quality process
  • Occasional out-of-town and overnight travel

About You

  • Holds or is working towards formal fire engineering qualifications
  • Intermediate level candidates with 3-5 years of experience are preferred
  • Senior level candidates are also welcome to apply
  • Graduates with 1-3 years of post-graduate experience will be considered
  • Experience in fire engineering report writing is essential
  • Comfortable in client-facing environments, or keen to develop in that direction
  • A confident communicator who works well in a small, collaborative team
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand
