THE GIG:


RB Recruitment is looking nationwide for Experienced Steelfixers looking to relocate to Christchurch long term.


Our client is one of the largest Reinforcement/Fabrication companies in the Christchurch region. They are looking for multiple positions to assist with the influx of work for residential and commercial builds. The role will be based in a warehouse setting (no rain days!) working within a team.


Physical fitness is crucial as you will be bending and cutting steel reinforcement materials. You will be tying steel and fastening steel bars using wire and clamps, and positioning and securing rebar to precise measurements.


No relocation package available but a role waiting for you as soon as you land!


YOU BRING:


We are looking for someone willing to dig in and get the job done with the following

  • Current driver's license with own transport to commute to sites
  • Multiple years of steel fixing experience, ideally in diaphragm walls, bridge piles, beams, walls and culverts.
  • Physically fit and able to fabricate, install and fix in a team-based setting


Applicants for this position must:


  • Have a current and valid NZ work visa or NZ residency. We are not taking international applications or Visa Sponsorships for this role.
  • Be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test
  • Consent to a third party criminal conviction check
