Job Description

We are looking for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Canterbury team. If you’re mechanically minded, enjoy working on heavy equipment and take pride in getting the job done right, we want to hear from you. You’ll be working across servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, likes a bit of variety and knows how to keep heavy machinery running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy machinery
  • Diagnosing and fault finding mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance
  • Working across workshop and site environments
  • Helping keep machinery and equipment operating safely and efficiently
  • General workshop, yard and equipment duties

What we’re looking for

  • Relevant qualifications and solid industry experience
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
  • A solid work ethic and reliable attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full NZ Driver Licence preferred
