The Company

Well-established New Zealand organisation currently investing heavily in technology and operational transformation. As part of a broader digital roadmap, they are undertaking the implementation of a new enterprise platform to replace a legacy operational system and require an experienced Project Manager to drive delivery.


The Role

This is an initial 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. Working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, you will take ownership of delivering a business-critical application implementation, ensuring successful execution from planning through to deployment and transition into business operations.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of a major enterprise software implementation
  • Managing project scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies and governance
  • Coordinating business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party vendors
  • Driving stakeholder engagement, workshops and project communications
  • Supporting business readiness, process change and organisational adoption activities
  • Managing testing, UAT, cutover planning and go-live execution
  • Providing regular reporting to senior leadership and project sponsors
  • Ensuring delivery deadlines, budget expectations and business outcomes are achieved

Your Profile

You will be an experienced technology Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a track record of successfully delivering software implementation and transformation projects.


Ideal experience includes:

  • 5+ years' experience delivering technology and business transformation projects
  • Proven experience implementing enterprise applications, ERP, asset management, maintenance management, operational systems or similar platforms
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capabilities
  • Ability to operate across both Project Management and Business Analysis activities where required
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams within complex business environments
  • Strong governance, reporting, risk and dependency management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Immediate availability or short notice preferred
