Job Description

PERSOL is recruiting on behalf of Programmed Facility Management for an experienced Class 2 Sports Turf Operator to join their Henderson team.

What you'll be doing


You'll be out and about across Auckland, working on sports fields and public spaces as part of the turf team. You'll operate tractors and specialised turf machinery, carry out sports field renovations and turf improvement work, assist with ground preparation and general grounds maintenance.


You'll use equipment including top dressers, aerators, verti-drains and turf cutters, follow the daily work schedule, complete routine machinery checks and make sure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.


What we're looking for


You'll ideally have 2+ years' experience in sports turf, particularly sports field maintenance and renovation work. Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture or similar machinery-based work will also be considered.


You'll need:


  • Full Class 2 licence - essential
  • WTR endorsements - preferred
  • Solid tractor/heavy machinery experience
  • A good work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work outdoors and as part of a team
