Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Storeperson / Customer Service Representative to join a busy timber yard.


This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll be helping customers, picking orders, moving stock and operating a forklift.


The role

  • Serve customers and assist with product enquiries
  • Pick, check and prepare customer orders
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Operate a forklift to move timber and other stock
  • Receive, check and put away stock
  • Keep the yard and warehouse organised and tidy
  • Assist with general warehouse and yard duties as required


About you

  • Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse or timber yard role
  • Strong customer service skills and a confident manner with customers
  • Current forklift licence and OSH certificate
  • Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy and awkward items
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, practical and willing to get stuck in


What’s on offer

  • Full-time, ongoing position
  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Monday - Friday, 7:00am and 5:00pm
  • Some weekend work may be required
  • Busy, hands-on work with a supportive team
  • Immediate start available


Applicants must be currently based in New Zealand and have valid working rights. Pre-employment drug screening and a Ministry of Justice criminal history check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
