Job Description

Surveyor/Survey Technician, $80,000 - $115,000 + Vehicle


Our client is a well-established Christchurch-based surveying and land development consultancy with a reputation for delivering high-quality solutions across a broad range of projects.


Due to continued growth, they are seeking either an aspiring Survey Technician looking to take the next step in their career, or an experienced Surveyor interested in expanding their expertise within a progressive and innovative team.

The Role:


You will be involved in a variety of surveying and land development projects working alongside experienced professionals and utilising modern surveying technology and software.


  • Field and office-based surveying duties.
  • Processing and managing survey data.
  • Preparing survey plans and documentation.
  • Working with Landonline and industry-standard software.
  • Collaborating with clients and project teams.
  • Assisting with land development and cadastral surveying projects.
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy and project delivery.


About You:


  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying or a related discipline.
  • A good understanding of surveying principles and equipment.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and 12d.
  • Experience using Landonline.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in surveying or survey drafting/technician work is highly regarded.
