An exciting role has opened up in our Logistics Team for a Class 2 Truck Driver & Loader.


Our Head Office, Factory and Warehouse are all based in a handy location in Albany, where our joinery team create shopfittings for NZ businesses and international luxury brands. Our Logistics team are responsible for wrapping, loading and delivering these items to site in the same pristine condition they left our factory or warehouse in, so our team can then transform empty spaces into amazing retail locations.


As a member of our Logistics team, you will also get involved with loading and transporting items to and from our warehouse (located nearby) and other manufacturers.


The usual working hours are 7am to 3:30pm, however during busy periods overtime will be available - overtime rates apply. From time to time out of town deliveries will be required. Allowances are paid for long shifts and overnights.


A good level of physical fitness and strength is a must in this role as it requires manual lifting.


We are willing to train the right driver to suit the nature of our Logistics division.


We are looking for someone who:


  • Holds a class 2 Truck Licence - with at least 6 months' driving experience.
  • Has a suitable level of physical fitness for heavy lifting for loading and unloading trucks.
  • Has a forklift licence - would be advantageous but not required.
  • Is a team player but can work independently and learn on the job.
  • Has excellent oral and written communication.
  • Has understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety.
