Job Description

What we do

We run outbound for B2B software and high-margin services companies across Australia, New Zealand, US and the UK. Before anyone dials, we validate which buyers actually answer the phone. That one step is the whole business, and it is why this role looks very little like the SDR jobs you have probably held.

Why this job is different

Most SDR roles are a dial count. You get handed a scraped list, you ring out for six hours, and you wear the blame for a list that was never going to answer.

We removed that problem at the source. Every contact you call has already been checked for reachability against our historic connect data and, where needed, by a validation call. Our validated pools have historically run connect rates in the 25 to 30 percent range, against an industry baseline sitting under 10 percent. So the commitment we make to clients, and the one we hold you to, is a number of live conversations per month. Dials are a by-product of that.

The list is also approved by the client before you touch it. Nobody on your pool is an existing customer, a live pipeline account or out of profile. You spend your day talking to people who pick up and who are in scope.

What you will do

  • Work an approved, validated calling pool across two or three client campaigns at a time
  • Hold real conversations with operations, revenue and technology leaders at mid-market businesses
  • Book meetings live into both calendars while you are still on the call
  • Own confirmation, rescheduling and no-show chasing. We are paid on held meetings, so the booking is only half the job
  • Capture account intelligence on every call: incumbent provider, contract end date, seat count and sites, current stack, and the stated reason for a no
  • Bring objection patterns and message performance into the fortnightly client review, and help decide what changes for the next cycle

What we are looking for

  • Three or more years in a phone-first B2B role: SDR, BDR or inside sales
  • You are comfortable calling senior people cold and you can carry a conversation past the first objection without reading a script at someone
  • A track record of meetings that were actually held. You can talk to the difference between a booking and a held meeting, because it is the number we are measured on
  • Discipline with the dialler and the CRM. If it is not recorded against the account, it did not happen
  • Genuine curiosity about the client's market. Our best reps can explain what a client sells and who buys it by the end of week two
  • Helpful if you have sold into IT services, SaaS or professional services

How we work

Small team, no layers. Reps own outreach and booking and every fortnight we sit down with the client, review what landed, and change the target and message combination based on what the calls told us.

You will have direct access to the founder and real influence over how a campaign is run.

We are not a call centre. We do not rotate reps across accounts to fill a roster. You hold your clients for the life of the engagement and you get to see the work compound.

The offer

$55,000 base, plus a variable payment on every held meeting. Fuly remote Dialler, CRM and validated data all provided.
