Job Description

Trade Assist is seeking a qualified Carpenter to join a well-established restoration and construction company based on Auckland’s North Shore! This is a great opportunity for a trade-qualified carpenter who enjoys a variety of work, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants long-term stability with overtime opportunities available.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Carry out residential and commercial carpentry work to a high standard
  • Complete repairs, renovations, and restoration projects across multiple sites
  • Read and work from plans and project specifications
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas
  • Work closely with supervisors and other trades on site


About You:

  • NZ Level 4 Carpentry Qualification required
  • Must have your own tools
  • Previous residential and/or commercial carpentry experience
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Current full driver’s licence required
  • NZ resident or valid work visa
